Volleyball Recap: Ryan Comes Up Short

Ryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Mansfield Tigers.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-18.

Jadyn Ward paced Ryan's offense, picking up seven kills. Ward got some help from Emery Hodge and her six assists.

Ryan's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Mansfield, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ryan will face off against Sanger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mansfield, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Grapevine at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
