Basketball Recap: Upper Scioto Valley Falls Short of St. John's in the Playoffs

Upper Scioto Valley and St. John squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Upper Scioto Valley had to settle for second. They were dealt a 71-33 defeat at the hands of the St. John's Bluejays. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 452nd in Ohio, while the Bluejays are ranked 25th in Ohio).

Upper Scioto Valley's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for St. John's, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-2.

As of now, neither Upper Scioto Valley nor St. John's have any future games scheduled.
