Softball Recap: Brennan Takes a Loss

Brennan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-2 to the Pearland Oilers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Bears were looking for revenge after losing 5-4 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Brennan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Farrah Lemus, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Lemus also put up a double, which washer first of the season.

Brennan now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Pearland, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Brennan has already played their next matchup (against Caney Creek), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pearland, they will challenge Harlan at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Harlan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.
