Baseball Game Preview: Bolton Wildcats vs. Bolivar Central Tigers

For the second straight game, Bolton will face off against Bolivar Central. The Wildcats will host the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bolton has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since the 8th.

Monday just wasn't the day for Bolton's offense. They lost 10-0 to Bolivar Central on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly ten runs.

For Bolivar Central's part, Kaden Ubelhor made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those seven strikeouts gave Ubelhor a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Jake Kelly was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Clyne Walton, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Bolivar Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Bolivar Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-11-1. As for Bolton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
