Holy Cross won the last time they faced Mid Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Holy Cross Crusaders took down the Mid Valley Spartans 61-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Crusaders.

Despite the loss, Mid Valley still got an impressive performance from Kaleik Cook, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Cook a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Landon Pratt, who posted ten points.

Holy Cross is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Mid Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will head out to take on Lakeland at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mid Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against Dunmore at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
