Nevaeh Gonzalez Game Report: vs Hueneme

Passers beware: Nevaeh Gonzalez came down with her first-ever interception on Tuesday and she's no doubt on the hunt for more. She defended one pass and snagged two interceptions both of which were returned for touchdowns as Rio Mesa took down Hueneme 59-0. We certainly expect to see more strong performances from Gonzalez considering she's already seeing the field as a freshman.

Coming up, Gonzalez and Rio Mesa will take on Camarillo in a tournament on Saturday. Thanks in part to Gonzalez's efforts, the Spartans will roll in undefeated.
