Recap: Decatur Red Raiders vs. Danville Hawks        
        
		
            
 The Decatur Red Raiders entered their tilt with the Danville Hawks with six consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with seven. Decatur sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a  51-48  win over Danville  on Tuesday. This was payback for Decatur, who suffered a  58-51  defeat the last time these two teams met.
 Decatur's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Carlee Mitchell, who  scored ten points along with eight  rebounds and three  steals.  Jadience Smith was another key contributor,  scoring four points along with eight  rebounds.
 Decatur has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Danville,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 8-12.
 Decatur will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Austin at 5:30  p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Alabama (Austin is ranked 121st, while Decatur is ranked 128th). As for Danville, they will head out on the road to face off against Phil Campbell at 5:45  p.m.  on Friday.
