Despite more penalty yards than offensive yards (334 to 330), Sharon somehow pulled a rabbit out of their hat on Friday. They claimed a resounding 49-6 victory over the Slippery Rock Rockets. The Tigers have beaten the Rockets the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rockets has come to flipping the script.

Ghafir Lampkins looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 17 yards and three scores, while also throwing for 74 yards and one touchdown.

Sharon didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Logan Perks and Jazya Hueston.

Sharon now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Slippery Rock, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
