Everett is 8-2 against Marysville Getchell since May of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Seagulls will be playing at home against Marysville Getchell at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Everett fell victim to Arlington and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Seagulls have suffered since April 1, 2024.

Meanwhile, Marysville Getchell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 18-15 to Monroe. Surprisingly, this marked Marysville Getchell's fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Marysville Getchell got a big performance out of Lilyana Balgos, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Hannah Worth, who went 2-for-4 with three runs.

Marysville Getchell's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Everett, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Everett skirted past Marysville Getchell 4-2 in their previous meeting last Tuesday. Will the Seagulls repeat their success, or do Marysville Getchell have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
