Carson has gone a perfect 7-0 against Banning recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Colts will challenge the Pilots at 4:30 p.m. Banning took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Carson, who comes in off a win.

Banning will be up against a hot Carson squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Colts blew past Gardena 3-0 on Friday.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Carson was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-11, 25-10.

Meanwhile, after a string of eight wins, Banning's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Larchmont Charter by a score of 1-0.

Banning's defeat dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Carson, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.

Carson beat Banning 3-1 when the teams last played back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
