Olathe never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Fort Lupton on Saturday. They blew past the Bluedevils 13-3. Considering the Pirates have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Bryce Good made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Olathe is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5 otherwise. Good was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-3. That's the most stolen bases he has posted over his last 12 matches.
