Basketball Recap: Concord Christian Wins High-Profile Game Against Bedford

On Friday, Concord Christian faced Bedford in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Concord Christian Kingsmen took down the Bedford Bulldogs 55-41. That's two games straight that the Kingsmen have won by exactly 14 points.

Concord Christian has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points over those games. As for Bedford, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 16-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Concord Christian will challenge Pinkerton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bedford, they will face off against Salem at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
