Volleyball Recap: John F. Kennedy Rockets vs. Randolph Ro-Hawks
John F. Kennedy lost against Randolph back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rockets fell just short of the Ro-Hawks by a score of 2-1. The Rockets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, John F. Kennedy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 22-25, 15-12.

Despite the loss, John F. Kennedy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Makalya Aragon had 19 digs and six kills. Those 19 digs set a new season-high mark for Aragon. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaelee Cordero, who had four digs and three aces.
John F. Kennedy suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 3-3. As for Randolph, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
John F. Kennedy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Irvin on the 16th.
