Basketball Game Preview: Fleetwood Tigers vs. Southern Lehigh Spartans

The Fleetwood Tigers will head out to square off against the Southern Lehigh Spartans at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Fleetwood came up short against Boyertown and fell 53-46. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 17-12 in the first quarter.

Fleetwood might have lost, but man, Mason Senna was a machine: he almost dropped a double-double with 25 points and nine boards. The matchup was Senna's fifth in a row with at least 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cj Sallee, who posted seven points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southern Lehigh). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Palmerton 74-28. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Southern Lehigh pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Fleetwood, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Fleetwood couldn't quite get it done against Southern Lehigh in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 as they fell 46-34. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
