Volleyball Recap: Ten Straight Home Victories for Hope Christian Academy

There's no place like home for Hope Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Crossroads Christian Academy 2-1.

Hope Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-17, 15-7.

Their offense was headlined by Allyssa Wilson and Brianna'Bri' Bradshaw, who picked up three kills apiece. They were helped by Loralai Green and Addyson Wilson, who contributed two assists each. Addyson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Hope Christian Academy pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Crossroads Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Hope Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Hilliard on the 4th. As for Crossroads Christian Academy, they will square off against Genesis Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
