Ashe County had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Starmount Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Ashe County's got stronger as the match went on, holding Starmount to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-13, 25-11.

Liza Weaver paced Ashe County's offense, picking up ten kills. Weaver got some help from Lorali Overcash and her 18 assists.

Ashe County's win bumped their record up to 22-7. As for Starmount, they dropped their record down to 12-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
