Football Recap: Norte Vista Comes Up Short

Norte Vista lost against Vista del Lago on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Braves lost 31-7 to the Ravens. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Braves, who until this game were averaging 12.25 points allowed.

Destiny Moralez threw for 97 yards on only seven passes. Angela Castro was her top target, picking up 97 receiving yards.

Norte Vista dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Vista del Lago, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Norte Vista has already played their next contest, a 1-0 victory against Arroyo Valley on the 19th. As for Vista del Lago, they will square off against Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
