Two dominant guards in Amara Warren and Ava Jagielski are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Lumen Christi Archangels will welcome the Seward Seahawks at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lumen Christi took a loss when they played away from home last Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Susitna Valley, sneaking past 32-30.

Seward's win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 21-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.6 points on average over those games. As for Lumen Christi, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.
