Basketball Game Preview: Pettus Eagles vs. Refugio Bobcats

Pettus is 0-10 against Refugio since January of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Eagles will welcome the Bobcats at 6:15 p.m.

Pettus managed to slip by Skidmore-Tynan the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles were dealt a 56-27 loss at the hands of the Bobcats on Friday. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Refugio challenged Kenedy on Friday. The Bobcats strolled past the Lions with points to spare, taking the game 55-37. The Bobcats haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Refugio's victory bumped their record up to 19-8. As for Pettus, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-16.
