It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Smyrna had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by nine runs or more this season.

Smyrna has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Red Lion Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-9.

Smyrna has already played their next game (against Cape Henlopen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Red Lion Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
