Softball Recap: Bridgeport Takes a Loss

Bridgeport fell victim to Doddridge County and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 15-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 5-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Doddridge County, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bridgeport will host Frankfort at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Doddridge County, they will be playing at home against Philip Barbour at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
