Football Game Preview: Twin Valley vs. Rye Cove

After two weeks on the road, Twin Valley is heading back home. On Friday they will take on Rye Cove at 7:00 PM. Rye Cove will be strutting in after a victory while Twin Valley will be stumbling in from a loss.

Things haven't been easy for Twin Valley, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to three. They suffered a grim 12-34 defeat to Thomas Walker last Friday. Twin Valley were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-27.

Meanwhile, after a disappointing six points in their last match, Rye Cove made sure to put some points up on the board against Jenkins. Rye Cove were the clear victor by a 39-6 margin over Jenkins. Rye Cove were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Twin Valley were able to grind out a solid win over Rye Cove the last time the two teams met, winning 33-22. Will Twin Valley repeat their success, or does Rye Cove have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
