League recap: Diaz throws longest pass in league this season for Bell

Redani Diaz and Eric Franco provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Grant. The connection went for 82 yards, the longest such play in Eastern this season.

Daniel Arriaga of Roosevelt ran for the longest rushing play in the league this season against Sylmar last week. Arriaga's team defeated the Spartans as he sprinted for 74 yards on the play and finished with 149 in all.

David Arriaga was the best running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 243 yards as Roosevelt lost to the Lancers.

Arriaga was a force in the backfield as Javier Cid's team beat Sylmar.

Franco was the best receiver in Eastern this week as the Eagles lost to Grant. Franco tallied 6 receptions for 127 yards. Andrew Alderete helped Bell's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 55 yards.

Arriaga was a passing and rushing force as the Rough Riders defeated chris richards' team.

Luis Suarez threw for 139 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 9-17 with 0 interceptions.

Suarez put up the best numbers in passing as Huntington Park beat Lincoln. Suarez's favorite target this week was Dale Vannoy, who caught 4 passes for 82 yards.

The leading receiver in the league this season is Vannoy. The Huntington Park star has 7 catches for 179 yards.

The Spartans scaled the state rankings by moving to 560 from 786 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Huntington Park was able to make move up by defeating the Tigers 32-13.
