Baseball Recap: Continental Takes a Loss

Continental lost against Paulding back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pirates lost 14-4 to the Panthers. The Pirates' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Nolan Cordes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and one run. Jackson Bidlack was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Continental's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-1. As for Paulding, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Continental will host Holgate at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Paulding, they will venture away from home to challenge Kalida at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
