Parkland lost against Reagan back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Parkland Mustangs took a blow against the Reagan Raiders, falling 83-45. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while the Raiders are ranked 138th).

Parkland's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brock Jackson, who posted 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Jackson is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last six games he's played. JoShaun Williamson was another key player, putting up ten points.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Reagan to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaden Finn, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 12 points and seven boards. The dominant performance also gave Finn a new career-high in assists (two). Another player making a difference was Lincoln Jackson, who went 5-for-8 en route to 14 points and six rebounds.

Parkland dropped their record down to 6-13 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. Their recent woes sure aren't a result of their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 37.8% in those games and 23.6% outside of them. As for Reagan, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.

Parkland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 65-54 defeat against Thomasville on the 5th. As for Reagan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 51-47 loss against South Stokes on the 5th.
