Vallivue waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Emmett Huskies with a sharp 11-3 victory. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by six runs or more this season.

Maris Farner was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Vallivue got a massive performance out of Sophia Kassotis, who went 3-for-5 with four stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Kassotis a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abbie Egglston, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Vallivue always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They are a perfect 13-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Vallivue's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Emmett, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-15.
