After a string of five wins, the Covenant School of Jacksonville Warriors's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They were beaten by University Christian 59-17. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Covenant School of Jacksonville has scored all season.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaquelyn Barnes, who scored 14 points. The game was Barnes' ninth in a row with at least ten points.

Covenant School of Jacksonville's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3. As for University Christian, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Covenant School of Jacksonville won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against St. Johns Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th. St. Johns Country Day has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. University Christian will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Ridgeview at 7:30 p.m. on December 14th.
