Basketball Game Preview: Buffalo Grove Bison vs. Barrington Fillies/Broncos

Buffalo Grove is on a three-game streak of home losses, Barrington a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Buffalo Grove Bison will host the Barrington Fillies/Broncos at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Buffalo Grove ended up a good deal behind Conant and lost 47-31.

Meanwhile, Barrington came up short against Hersey on Tuesday, falling 61-36. While losing is never fun, the Fillies/Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 212th, while the Huskies are ranked 79th).

Buffalo Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 12-18. As for Barrington, their loss dropped their record down to 14-16.

Buffalo Grove ended up a good deal behind Barrington in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, losing 57-41. Can Buffalo Grove avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
