Football Recap: Webster Schroeder Warriors vs. Irondequoit Eagles
Webster Schroeder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Irondequoit Eagles on the road by a 26-7 margin. The Warriors were down 26-0 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Cameron Freeman was a one-man wrecking crew for Irondequoit as he rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. That's the most rushing yards Freeman has posted since back in September of 2023. Taiden Makubire was another key player, throwing for 171 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Webster Schroeder's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Irondequoit, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
