Union Area was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 28-22 heartbreaker at the hands of the Beaver Falls Tigers. On the bright side, the 22- point performance marked the Scotties' highest-scoring game to date.

Union Area's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Beaver Falls, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Union Area is set to challenge their familiar foe Freedom Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Beaver Falls will face off against rival New Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
