Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hoopa Valley). They blew past the Butte Valley Bulldogs, posting a 100-22 win. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Warriors with their most commanding win of the season.

Hoopa Valley's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brian Richards, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 13 boards. Richards has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Carlos Anzora, who went 6 of 11 en route to 16 points along with six boards and five assists.

Hoopa Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive matchups.

Butte Valley lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Hunter Stevenson, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Delgado, who put up seven points.

Hoopa Valley's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Butte Valley, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Hoopa Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 98-64 victory against Plumas Charter on the 4th. As for Butte Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-21 defeat against Lost River on the 6th.
