Softball Recap: Dunmore Bucks vs. Riverside Vikings        
        
		
            
 Dunmore owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  1-0  win over the Riverside Vikings. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Dunmore.
  Rachel Walsh made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Walsh has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings every time she's  pitched this season. Walsh was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in 13 of her 15 plate appearances with.
 Walsh wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Tristan Canavan, who  went 2-for-3 with four  stolen bases. Canavan is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last four games she's  played.
 Dunmore is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record  this season. As for Riverside, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.
 Dunmore will head out on the road to  challenge  Old Forge at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Riverside, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Lakeland at 4:30  p.m.
