Soccer Recap: Crossville Comes Up Short

Crossville managed to keep up with Moody until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Lions lost 4-1 to the Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Moody this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 on April 1st.

Crossville's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Moody, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-11-2.

Looking ahead, Crossville is taking a road trip to square off against Fultondale at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Crossville are facing Fultondale at the right time seeing as Fultondale are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Moody, they will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Jacksonville at 5:30 p.m.
