Watauga had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They slipped by the Northern Guilford Nighthawks 43-42 on Saturday. The Pioneers' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Looking ahead, Watauga will host Middle Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers' defense better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 40.2 points per game this season. Northern Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
