Baseball Recap: Mount Dora Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

While Mount Dora put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Ocoee. The Hurricanes walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Knights. The Hurricanes haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

James Carroll looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Preston Rhodes, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Jack Irwin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
