Basketball Game Preview: Mountain View Prep Stars vs. Broome Centurions

Having just played yesterday, the Mountain View Prep Stars will head out on the road to face off against the Broome Centurions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Mountain View Prep will head out to face Broome after giving up their first home loss of the season on Thursday. Mountain View Prep took a 65-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Broome. The Stars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mountain View Prep's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bryson Drummond, who went 7 for 15 en route to 18 points and six rebounds, and Aveon Payton, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points. The dominant performance gave Payton a new career-high in points. Jaden Gentry was another key player, putting up nine points and five boards.

Mountain View Prep's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-12. As for Broome, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-12 record this season.
