Volleyball Game Preview: Northwest Indians vs. Brookside Cardinals

The Northwest Indians will face off against the Brookside Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Northwest took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Manchester. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Northwest had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 25-21, 25-15, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Brookside got the win against Trinity on Saturday by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Brookside was: they took every set by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11, 25-9.

Brookside's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Northwest, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.
