Volleyball Recap: Scotus Shamrocks vs. Ogallala Indians

Scotus entered their tilt with Ogallala on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Ogallala Indians 3-2. The Shamrocks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Scotus was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (99-97), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 18-25, 25-17, 25-20, 15-12.

Scotus found their leader in sophomore Brooke Krienke, who had 13 digs.

Scotus has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 28-6 record this season. As for Ogallala, their defeat dropped their record down to 26-11.

Scotus will challenge Wahoo at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Wahoo will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Scotus surely won't give up without a fight. Ogallala does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
