The Douglas Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Blackstone-Millville Chargers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Blackstone-Millville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Douglas, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Douglas turned things around against Sutton on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sammies/Suzies.

Douglas not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Sutton between 17 and 20 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Blackstone-Millville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Burncoat, falling 3-0.

Blackstone-Millville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-23, 25-13.
