Volleyball Recap: The Master's Academy Comes Up Short

The Master's Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Challenger Firebirds, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The Master's Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-15.

The Master's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Challenger, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

The Master's Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Haywood Christian Academy on the 7th. As for Challenger, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Christian Family Academy on the 6th.
