Soccer Recap: Boulder Gets the Win

While Boulder's win against Centaurus wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Warriors 1-0 on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Boulder were the better team in the second half.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of James Quesenberry, which was the first he's scored this season.

Boulder now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Centaurus, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Boulder is taking a road trip to face off against Cherry Creek at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Boulder's defense better be ready for this one: Cherry Creek have averaged an impressive 4.2 goals per game this season. As for Centaurus, they will welcome Mullen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
