After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heath, Watkins Memorial was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Whetstone Braves with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Warriors not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 16th (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-21, 25-15.

Raegan Miller paced Watkins Memorial's offense, picking up eight kills. Miller were helped by Emily Thompson and Ellah Bigham, who contributed 12 assists each. Adalyn Rhodes and Gracelyn Vanscoy kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Watkins Memorial's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Whetstone, they moved to 16-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Watkins Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Whetstone, they will take on Westerville South in a tournament on Monday.
