Goldwater was the 2-1 winner over Tucson High Magnet School when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Goldwater Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tucson High Magnet School Badgers on Saturday.
Goldwater was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Tucson High Magnet School work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-20.
Goldwater has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for Tucson High Magnet School, their victory bumped their record up to 15-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
