The Owen Valley Patriots will square off against the Brown County Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Owen Valley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.8 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Owen Valley came up short against South Putnam and fell 6-3. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Owen Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Haley Amador, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Brown County entered their game against North Putnam on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 3-1.

Brown County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Owen Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Owen Valley took their win against Brown County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
