Volleyball Recap: Grand Rapids Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Grand Rapids, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the St. Croix Lutheran Crusaders on Saturday.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Grand Rapids was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-15.

Grand Rapids pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for St. Croix Lutheran, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Coincidentally, Grand Rapids and St. Croix Lutheran will both be playing Cannon Falls the next time they take the court. The Crusaders will head out to face the Bombers at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Thunderhawks will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
