Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alta-Aurelia). They were the clear victors by a 22-7 margin over the Northwest Webster Cougars on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Warriors needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Alta-Aurelia pushed their record up to 6-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Northwest Webster, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alta-Aurelia will venture away from home to face off against West Bend-Mallard at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Northwest Webster, they will face off against Greene County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
