Basketball Recap: Lawrence's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to 11

Lawrence entered their tilt with Steinert on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Steinert Spartans 67-39. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Spartans are ranked 398th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lawrence is also on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Steinert, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-16.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lawrence will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on South Brunswick at 12:00 p.m. on February 15th. Steinert has already played their next contest (against Sterling), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
