Panguitch waltzed into their match on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Wayne Badgers as they made off with a 16-5 win. Considering the Bobcats have won six contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Panguitch's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Wayne, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Panguitch will welcome Bryce Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wayne, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Green River at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.25 runs per game on average), something the Badgers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
