Johnson lost against Brearley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Bears by a score of 3-1. The Crusaders' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Brearley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Johnson will take on Dayton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brearley, they will venture away from home to take on St. Thomas Aquinas at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
