Football Recap: Palm Beach Lakes Takes a Loss

Palm Beach Lakes fell victim to Glades Central and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Raiders and fell 49-0. Having soared to a lofty 37 points in the game before, the Rams' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Glades Central had a senior duo take command as Armaud Stinfort rushed for 80 yards and three scores on only 11 carries and Taj Barnes threw for 145 yards and a pair of TDs. Stinfort is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least three every time he's taken the field this season.

Palm Beach Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Glades Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Palm Beach Lakes will host Park Vista at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glades Central, they are taking a road trip to take on Moore Haven at 6:30 p.m. on the 12th.
